LEGACY OF
GLOBAL IMPACT
Over a century ago, A. Pilgrim—forefather of the Pilgrim Guild Foundation—left Barbados for Panama, working on one of history’s greatest engineering feats,
the Panama Canal. His remittances funded land investments back home, laying the foundation for his family’s future.
Out of his dozen children, his son, the late W. Pilgrim,
a mason, continued this legacy—returning from
New York to build upon that land, expanding the family’s real estate footprint. Alexander's grandson, D. Pilgrim, independently continued this legacy on-island with the real estate management for half a century.
Across generations, the Pilgrims carried this pioneering spirit across continents—shaping industries from real estate and skilled trades to hospitality, education, entrepreneurship, and the innovation economy.
Today, the Pilgrim Guild Foundation advances that tradition, bridging arts & culture, media, and technology
to empower the next generation. Rooted in education, innovation, and social impact, we connect talent, mentorship, and opportunity across borders.
